The Eclipse Quick Reference App (QRA) serves as an interactive alternative to the traditional Eclipse Quick Reference Handbook, offering a range of features tailored for pilots.

Checklist:

• The app allows for seamless navigation through the Eclipse checklist, enabling users to mark actions as complete with a single touch. Dedicated buttons facilitate quick access to specific sections of the checklist, including Startup, Taxi, Takeoff, Climb, Cruise, Approach, Landing, and Shutdown.
• One notable advantage of the app is its ability to remember the user's last position within the checklist, ensuring continuity even after exiting the application.

Weight & Balance:

• The app simplifies the configuration of a jet's seat layout by allowing users to drag and position seats with ease. Passenger weights can be entered swiftly for precise calculations.
• Furthermore, by specifying the existing fuel load and desired uplift, users receive automatic calculations of total uplift in gallons along with a real-time center of gravity (CG) graph illustrating the CG envelope.

Fuel Planning:

• Inputting parameters such as distance to destination, descent type (normal, idle, early), power settings (MCT or LRC), cruise altitude, winds, and ISA temperature yields comprehensive data on fuel required for the journey, estimated time en route, fuel remaining upon arrival, and nautical mile range.

Performance Lookup:

1. Takeoff: Users can input field OAT, elevation, and takeoff weight to automatically compute runway requirements and climb limitations. Additional parameters such as wind and runway slope can also be adjusted for increased accuracy.
2. Minimums: The app calculates required gradients based on departure procedure altitude requirements and displays the Eclipse's Vy performance in both normal and engine-out scenarios.
3. Climb & Cruise: By entering OAT, altitude, and weight, the app computes fuel flow alongside KTAS and nautical mile per 100 lbs for various power settings. Results are derived from trilinear interpolation, offering high accuracy. Climb rates at altitude are also provided.
4. Descent & Landing: This feature allows users to determine runway requirements and vSpeeds during descent by inputting field OAT, elevation, and takeoff weight. Similar adjustment options for wind and slope aid in fine-tuning results.

Emergency Procedures:

• Pilots can efficiently locate any CAS message or unannounced procedure through a color-coded searchable list. A single touch on a message reveals a detailed action page from the QRH that is scrollable for ease of use.

DSU Upload:

• The app provides functionality for uploading aircraft Diagnostic Storage Unit (DSU) data to FlightData.com, facilitating processing and sharing with maintenance centers.

Manuals:

• Qualified pilots have the capability to access important documents such as the AFM through the Eclipse QRA application.
